PME Projects Authorised Electrical Services Supplier to Fusion21

PME Projects are delighted on their appointment as electrical services contractors to the Fusion21 Facilities Management Framework Agreement. The four year electrical services contract will see PME Projects providing a wide range of commercial electrical services and domestic electrical services, throughout the North West as well as Cumbria and North Wales.

The Electrical Services Contractors Framework Agreement

The Facilities Management framework consists of 11 different lots, incorporating fire risk assessments, security, lighting, cleaning, catering, pest control, appliance testing, water hygiene, asbestos removal, ventilation and total facilities management services.

PME Projects were appointed to the framework after a comprehensive tendering exercise, under the restricted Official Journal of the European Union procedure. The OJEU process has a number of stages ranging from question forms, interviews and price submissions.

Fusion21 itself is a social enterprise that promotes public procurement as a means to save money and create social outcomes. Since 2002 Fusion 21 has saved its Clients tens of millions of pounds and created over 1000 sustainable, local North West jobs.

Fusion21 clients currently collectively manage over 200,000 properties throughout the UK. The number of organisations working closely with Fusion 21 (and their associated stock) is expected to increase significantly over the next four years.

Working nationally, Fusion21 links spending programmes across numerous client organisations, to the creation of training opportunities and sustainable jobs for local people.

As well as generating social value this model improves efficiency in the procurement process and generates significant cash savings for its members.
